The band put the Forum date back so it will coincide with the release of their new single...

Cooper Temple Clause have rescheduled their upcoming LONDON show to July to coincide with the release of their new single,’PROMISES, PROMISES’.

The NME favourites were set to play Kentish Town Forum on May 20, but will now play the venue on July 16.

A spokesperson for the Cooper Temple Clause said the band have rescheduled the show for it to coincide with the new single, which is set for release sometime in July.

They also said the band will use the time to concentrate on recording tracks for their follow-up to 2002’s ‘See This Through And Leave’.

At their recent sold-out NME Awards show the Reading six-piece played a number of unheard tracks, which they have said are likely to feature on the new album.

Cooper Temple Clause are currently in the middle of their UK tour, which sees them playing Liverpool University on Saturday night (May 10), before setting off on ten more dates during May.
