The Irish speed king turns up to see the band in London - and tells NME.COM they're a "cracking outfit"...

Rising five-piece COOPER TEMPLE CLAUSE have discovered an unlikely, high-profile fan – Formula 1 motor racing team boss EDDIE JORDAN.

Jordan, head of the team that bears his name, showed up at the band’s sold out show in London’s 100 Club last night (April 3), having just returned from Sunday’s (April 1) Brazilian Grand Prix.

Speaking to NME.COM, Jordan revealed that he thought the band, who have been compared to both Verveand Pink Floyd were a “cracking outfit”. He spent much of the show playing air guitar, something he continued doing as he left the club at the gig’s end.

Cooper Temple Clause release second single ‘Panzer Attack’ through their own Morning imprint on June 11. Their debut album will appear later this year.
