Coral played an intimate set for just 20 people yesterday (December 4), at the top of the RADIO CITY TOWER in the band’s home town of LIVERPOOL.
An unusually subdued James Skelly, guitarists Lee Southall, and Bill Ryder-Jones, played three songs for the small crowd of competition winners.
The band played current single ‘Bill McCai’, ‘Boy At The Window’ from NME’s ‘Hanging With The Strokes’ compilation CD and ‘Magic And Medicine’ album track ‘Liezah’. The gig was also broadcast live on air.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the band will release ‘Nightfreaks And The Sons Of Becker’ on January 26. The mini-album will cost £7.99, and is limited to 75,000 copies.
The band return to the road on December 9, to play four more dates before Christmas.
The remaining dates are:
Warrington Parr Hall (December 9)
York Barbican Centre (18)
Liverpool Royal Court Theatre (19/20)
