BMX BANDITS!

The group have filmed their own version, and named it 'Lazy Rider'...

Coral have filmed their own tribute to cult psychedelic Sixties road movie ‘EASY RIDER’.

The band’s most intriguing project to date is a 45-minute film called ‘Lazy Rider’ a send-up of ‘Easy Rider’, which starred Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda. ‘Easy Rider’ was a defining film of the psychedelic counter culture and featured the two actors as hippie drug-taking bikers travelling from Los Angeles to New Orleans.

In Lazy Rider, rather than motorbikes Coral ride BMX bikes in their hometown of Hoylake. NME.COM understands that, in the film, at least one member of the group is attacked and killed by a hillbilly character. The film is likely to get released on DVD next year.
