The most prolific band in rock have already laid down seven tracks for the follow-up to 'Magic & Medicine'...

Coral are back in the studio – and have already laid down seven tracks for their third album, NME.COM can reveal.

Despite their second album, the chart-topping ‘Magic And Medicine’, only having been released in July, and with their self-titled debut only a year old, the prolific Liverpudlians are anxious to get on with making more new music.

Altough the band are staying tight lipped at the moment about the new material, NME.COM did witness singer James Skelly, guitarist Lee Southall and bassist Paul Duffy sat by the artists’ swimming pool at the Benicassim festival earlier this year working on a new song, thought to be titled ‘Migraine’.

The group also debuted another new track, ‘Sorrow For The Sun’, during their set.

Coral release a new single, ‘Secret Kiss’, on October 6. They then head out on their biggest UK tour to date.
