Courteeners announce intimate London gig

The band will tease their new album with a show at The 100 Club on July 15

The Courteeners have announced plans for an intimate gig in London.

The show will take place at The 100 Club on July 15 and the band will be debuting material from their forthcoming new album, ‘Concrete Love’. Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow (July 9).

Scroll down to hear the first new track from the LP, ‘Summer’. The album was partly written and recorded in Montmartre, Paris, last autumn. It sees the band working with regular producer and collaborator Joe Cross (Hurts/Chloe Howl) and will be released on August 18.

The band’s fourth album, it follows the Top 10 LPs ‘St Jude’, ‘Falcon’ and ‘Anna’. As well as playing London later this month, Courteeners will support The Killers at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on August 19 and headline the NME/Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds 2014.

Deluxe editions of the new album come with a DVD or download of the band’s July 2013 shows at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, where they played to two sold-out crowds of 16,000 over two nights.
