The Cribs swim with pigs in the video for new song ‘Burning For No One’. Watch the Bahamas set video below, now.
The band headed to sunnier climes to shoot the video for their new single, the first to be taken from new album ‘For All My Sisters’. It didn’t all go swimmingly, however, with drummer Ross Jarman getting bitten on the foot by one of the animals. Speaking to NME, Gary Jarman of the band explained the thinking behind the shoot.
“We were interested because it was the Bahamas, it was pigs and it was fucking cute – everything about it, basically,” he said. “It might look like we’re flashing the cash now we’re signed to a major, but the video was pretty cheap: the pigs were free.”
The track was recorded last Autumn at New York’s Magic Shop Studio under the guidance of producer and former Cars frontman Ric Ocasek.
‘For All My Sisters’ will be released on March 23. Speaking to NME last month, the band’s Ryan Jarman revealed that the album will be the group’s most pop-focused release since 2007’s ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’.
