The Cure score four singles in US Top 20

Remix EP due for release next week

The Cure have scored an impressive feat in the US this week, with four singles charting in the Billboard Top 20 single sales chart.

Four singles released over the last four months are currently in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart – ‘Perfect Boy (Mix 13)’ is at Number Eight, ‘Sleep When I’m Dead (Mix 13)’ sits at Number 12, ‘Freakshow (Mix 13)’ scored the 13th position and ‘The Only One (Mix 13)’ attained the Number 18 spot.

An EP of remixes of these first four singles will be released digitally and on CD next week.

As previously reported, My Chemical Romance‘s Gerard Way, Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump are among the acts who have contributed to the ‘Hypnagogic States’ remix EP, set to be released September 16.

All artist royalties from the EP will benefit the International Red Cross.

The Cure are currently gearing up for the release of their 13th studio album ‘4:13 Dream’, due to come out on October 28 via Suretone/Geffen Records.
