The compilation will also feature brand new studio recordings from the goth veterans...

CURE are to re-record acoustic versions of some of their hit singles for

their forthcoming ‘GREATEST HITS’ compilation.

The group

release their Greatest Hits album on November 12. A spokesperson

for the group told NME.COM that the record will feature two

brand new studio recordings from the group.

In addition, the album will

inirially be released as a limited edition double disc, with the extra record

containing new, acoustic recordings of some of their “big hits”.

Cure have snubbed persistant rumours of a split to return to the studio, and

as a result the album will be preceded by a brand new single, ‘Cut

Here’, which is released on October 29.

Cure’s Greatest Hits is: ‘Boys Don’t Cry’
