THE DARKNESS GO BACK TO SCHOOL!

And they are all very well behaved boys...

The Darkness have gone back their old school to open a music centre.

The band, who recently played at the Oxegen and T In The Park festivals, visited Kirkley High School in Lowestoft yesterday (July 26).

According to The Sun newspaper the band gave a number of gifts to the school, as well as taking part in a Q & A session with pupils.

Deputy head Hazel Johnson said: “It was absolutely wonderful to see our ex-students who have been so successful. I had a fabulous afternoon talking to them. I haven’t seen them since they left. We talked about their lives and how things have moved on.”

The band are currently working on songs for their second album.
