The British PM says the rockers are one of his favourite bands...
TONY BLAIR has admitted he is a huge fan of The Darkness.
Blair admitted his love of the band on a visit to a London school. Talking fluently in French, he also said that Foo Fighters and U2 are amongst CDs that he regularly steals from his children’s collections.
Blair’s diverse musical tastes have been well documented. His ‘Desert Island Discs’ selection on BBC Radio 4 included The Beatles, Free, and classical composer Claude Debussy.
Blair also hit the headlines with his music taste when he invited the frontmen from both Blur and [a][/a] for a champagne reception when he first came into office in 1997. Noel Gallagher accepted, but Damon Albarn declined.
