BLACK EYED PEAS stay top of the UK singles chart tonight (September 21), seeing off the debut solo single from ex-S CLUB member RACHEL STEVENS.

Her ‘Sweet Dreams My LA Ex’ can’t dislodge ‘Where Is The Love?’, top for a third week.

There are a host of other new entries in the Top Ten. ‘Hey Whatever’ by Westlife is at Four, ‘Pandora’s Kiss’ by Louise at Five, and Nickelback’s ‘Someday’ at Six.

Slightly further down, Jamelia enters at Eight with ‘Someday’, So Solid Crew at Nine with ‘Broken Silence’ and Limp Bizkit at Ten with ‘Eat You Alive’.

In the album chart, the neck-and-neck race between Starsailor and The Darkness has been won by The Darkness, who stay top with ‘Permission To Land’. Starsailor’s second album ‘Silence Is Easy’, goes in at Two, with David Bowie’s ‘Reality’ entering at Three and Seal’s ‘IV’ at Four.

DMX’s ‘Grand Champ’ is a new entry at Six.
