And The Darkness still reign supreme in the albums chart...

BLACK EYED PEAS have gone straight in at the top of the UK singles chart tonight (September 7) with ‘WHERE IS THE LOVE?’.

There are a host of new entries in the Top Ten, next up being Dido’s comeback single ‘White Flag’ at Two.

Big Brovaz go in at Four with ‘Baby Boy’, with metal gods Iron Maiden returning at Six with ‘Wildest Dreams’.

Starsailor get a Top Ten hit with ‘Silence Is Easy’ at Nine, while The White Stripes enter at 13 with ‘I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’.

In the album chart, The Darkness stay on top with ‘Permission To Land’. The only other entries in the Top Ten are best of compilations from James Taylor and Elton John respectively.
