The band don't want to offend anyone over the pond...

The Darkness are pulling no punches in their campaign to break AMERICA – and they’ve even re-recorded vocal tracks on their album to help them.

According to the Daily Star, certain swear words on the band’s album ‘Permission To Land’ – which hit Number One in the US – have been re-recorded to avoid offending American audiences.

Singer Justin Hawkins said: “For ‘Black Shuck’… I’ve changed it to ‘duck’! I’ve got away with it, too. You can either take the nonsensical approach to it all, or you can try doing something that still makes some sense. I prefer the nonsensical approach.”
