The Dead Weather go to prison in ‘Impossible Winner’ video

Jack White and Alison Mosshart tormented by creepy wardens in latest clip

Jack White and the Kills’ Alison Mosshart are locked up in a creepy prison for The Dead Weather‘s new video.

‘Impossible Winner’ features on the band’s 2015 album ‘Dodge & Burn’ and its video, directed by Sophie Muller and Ross McDowell, can be viewed now via Tidal. It will appear on Vevo from tomorrow. Non-Tidal subscribers can preview clips below while they wait.

Mosshart is working on a new album with her band The Kills, a contributing factor to the fact The Dead Weather will not tour ‘Dodge & Burn’. Similarly, guitarist Dean Fertita is busy recording a new Queens of the Stone Age album and also contributed to Iggy Pop’s record ‘Post Pop Depression’.

Having issued a series of seven-inch singles over the past couple of years, the group released third full-length ‘Dodge And Burn’ in September last year via White’s own Third Man Records.

‘Dodge & Burn’ features eight new songs, as well as the four previously released songs (‘Buzzkill(er)’, ‘Too Bad’, ‘Open Up (That’s Enough)’, ‘Rough Detective’), the latter having been remixed and remastered for the new release.

The band released their second album ‘Sea Of Cowards’ in 2010, which followed 2009 debut ‘Horehound’.
