The Dead Weather stream new album ‘Dodge And Burn’ via Tidal ahead of release

The album is also available to stream via Jack White's Third Man Records

The Dead Weather are ‘pre-streaming’ their new album, ‘Dodge And Burn’ ahead of its release on September 25.

The band’s third album – their first since 2010’s ‘Sea Of Cowards’ – is streaming exclusively on Tidal and The Vault, part of Jack White’s record label Third Man Records.

The album’s promotional campaign thus far has also included the launch of two new tracks from ‘Dodge And Burn’ – ‘Cop and Go’ and ‘I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)’.

The band has also released two of four instructional videos, with drummer Jack White and bassist Jack Lawrence showing fans how to drum their way through ‘Hang You From The Heavens’ and play the bassline for new track ‘Mile Markers’.

The four-piece broke their live hiatus on Monday (September 14), playing their first live show in five years on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on American TV.

Frontwoman Alison Mosshart has said of the band’s return, “It feels so good to put music out into the world, it’s the best feeling ever. I’m really happy that we have things for people to hear, something new.” Speaking of the recording sessions, meanwhile, she added: “It’s really easy and pleasant and enjoyable to be in the studio with these guys and jam and write songs, it happens so naturally, it’s a joy.”
