Watch The Dead Weather perform at a private party in new clip from chef Anthony Bourdain’s TV series

The live performance came as the chef catered for a party held at the home of vocalist Alison Mosshart

The Dead Weather will be seen performing live in the new episode of chef Anthony Bourdain’s TV series, Parts Unknown.

The New York chef and TV presenter hosts the worldly travel-and-cooking show on CNN, which this week visits Nashville – the episode is set to air in the US tomorrow (October 2).

As Consequence of Sound reports, a segment of the new episode sees Bourdain cater for a party that’s being held by Dead Weather and The Kills vocalist Alison Mosshart at her home in the Tennessee city.

In a promo clip for the upcoming episode, Bourdain is seen talking to Mosshart in her kitchen, before revealing that her band – which includes Jack White on drums – gave a live performance in her front room in honour of the party. The Kills’ guitarist Jamie Hince is also spotted at one point watching on from the sidelines.
