Band will release four instructional videos in lead up to release of new album 'Dodge And Burn'

Jack White gives a drum lesson in the first of a new series of instructional videos from The Dead Weather.

White shows fans how to play the drum parts to ‘Hang You From The Heavens’ in the video below. Directed by White himself, the video sees the musician joined by his Dead Weather bandmates and showcases an alternative drum pattern for the song.

The band and Third Man Records will release three more videos, highlighting the different members’ specific instruments on songs from the band’s career, including their forthcoming album ‘Dodge And Burn’.

The band, which consists of The Kills‘ Alison Mosshart, Jack White, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence, released their second album ‘Sea Of Cowards’ in 2010, which followed 2009 debut ‘Horehound’.

The album will feature eight new songs, as well as the four previously released songs (‘Buzzkill(er)’, ‘It’s Just Too Bad’, ‘Open Up (That’s Enough)’, ‘Rough Detective’), the latter having been remixed and remastered for the new release.
