The Decemberists have announced they are to release a new album, ‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’.
As reported by Spin, band frontman Colin Meloy unveiled the project by busking in front of a painted mural of the upcoming album’s cover in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Williamsburg on Friday (October 24). Meloy himself took to Twitter approximately 40 minutes ahead of the appearance to inform fans, while the band’s label, Capitol Records, later posted a picture of the mural.

‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’, The Decemberists’ seventh album, is due to be released in January.
