THE DIVINE COMEDY have announced UK dates in the autumn to support their next single and album.
The single, ‘Generation Sex’, is to be released on September 14, and precedes the release of the band’s new album, ‘Fin De Sihcle’, on August 31. A spokesperson stated that Neil Hannon, having virtually completed his own album, has also recorded vocals on a couple of tracks for possible inclusion on Robbie Williams’ next album, due out next year.
The Divine Comedy’s tour visits Portsmouth Pyramid Centre (September 24), Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (25), Liverpool L2 (26), Sheffield Foundry (27), Edinburgh Assembly Rooms (29), Middlesbrough Town Hall (30), Leeds University (October 1), Cardiff University (3), London Shepherd’s Bush Empire (4), Cambridge Junction (5) and Bristol University Anson Rooms (6).
