The Coldplay star is at London Hammersmith Apollo to check out his heroes...
COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN was amongst the crowd to see Flaming Lips biggest ever headline show last night (November 3).
From the stage at the London Hammersmith Apollo White Stripes frontman Wayne Coyne repeatedly told the audience that the show was the biggest headline date they’d ever played.
Chris Martin watched from the balcony as the band belted through the highlights of their album ’Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots’ and a cover of [a][/a]’ ’Seven Nation Army’, even getting in the spirit by playing with the giant balloons that were being bounced around the crowd.
Fortunately there was no repeat of the scenes at the their Birmingham Academy show on Friday night (October 31) when a dancing panda collapsed onstage.
The girl in the suit passed out during ‘Lightning Strikes The Postman’.
The band are currently winding up their UK tour, appearing at the London Hammersmith Apollo again tonight (November 4), before visiting Glasgow Academy (8) and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall (9).
