The band's new album is due for release in the UK in May...

Flaming Lips have given their new album a working title of ‘YOSHIMI VS. THE PINK ROBOTS’.

The record, due for release in May in the UK, is the follow-up to their NME Album Of The Year ‘The Soft Bulletin’.

Now, according to their official website, www.flaminglips.com, the title “has not yet stuck for certain” but is a reference to some of the songs on the album.
