Club NME heads for the Eurosonic Festival

A host of bands will join is in Gronigen

Club NME returns to the Netherlands this week for the annual Eurosonic Festival.

The Futureheads, Reverend and the Makers, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, The Ting Tings and The Whip lead the UK contingent at the first major event in the European live music calendar, happening in the city of Groningen this weekend.

Club NME Groningen takes place this Friday (January 11) at the Het Parlement venue, featuring live sets from Palladium plus more tbc, plus Club NME DJs, Subbacultcha and Adept.

Around 250 bands will pack into 24 venues over three action-packed nights that showcase the best in new music from Europe.

In addition to the hordes of music fans who descend upon Groningen, in the north of the city, 2400 music industry professionals also attend the weekend, making this the industry’s first talent-spotting event of the year.

Eurosonic takes place this Thursday-Saturday (10-12) in venues across Groningen.
