The Futureheads shine at secret London show

There's new LP tracks and a host of classics

The Futureheads played tracks from new album ‘News And Tributes’ at a secret show in London last night (May 1).

The band’s performance, along with that of support band The Maccabees, was transmitted on Radio 1’s Lamacq Live show from King’s Cross Water Rats.

As well as singles like ‘Hounds Of Love’ and ‘Decent Days And Nights’, The Futureheads played five songs from their forthcoming album – ‘Cope’, ‘Fallout’, ‘Back To The Sea’, ‘Return Of the Beserker’ and new single ‘Skip To The End’.

The capacity crowd was made up of competition winners.

As previously reported on NME.COM, The Futureheads are to tour the UK following the release of ‘News And Tributes’.

The LP is released on May 29, the same day the tour begins in Glasgow. The 12-date jaunt ends at London Forum on June 12.
