and The Hiss
are the first two bands confirmed to go out on NME’s ‘ROCK N’ ROLL RIOT TOUR’ this October.
The bands – who have become mates since playing together in London Pentonville Prison last month, are getting ready to tear through a town near you.
The tour kicks off in Glasgow on October 27, going on to Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Norwich, Brighton and London before winding up at the Bristol Anson Rooms on November 7.
NME editor Conor McNicholas said: “The NME Autumn tour is always a blast but this year we’re bringing an extra special line-up with two of the hardest-drinking, hardest-riffing, most exciting new bands around. The Hiss
will rock your world and Jet
will blow your minds.”
Following in the footsteps of last year’s headliners and fellow countrymenVines, Jet will continue their amazing summer by topping this year’s bill. The NME cover stars will be playing songs from their forthcoming debut album ‘Get Born’, released on September 15.
Atlanta’s finest The Hiss are riding high on the success of their Owen Morris-produced debut album ‘Panic Movement’ and their support slot on the recent NME Presents… Black Rebel Motorcycle Club tour at the end of July.
Make sure that you get your tickets early so you don’t miss out on what will surely be the most uproarious rock ‘n’ roll party of the year.
