THE HIVES, DOVES WIN NME AWARDS

And there's more gongs for Coldplay and Oasis...

Doves and Hives are the latest winners at today’s (February 13) NME AWARDS at LONDON’s PO NA NA.

Doves took home the NME Single Of The Year award for ‘There Goes The Fear’, while Hives were in the house to collect their award for Best International Band, presented to them by British pop sensations Sugababes.

[url=]Coldplay , having already won the NME writers prize for Album Of The Year with ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’, also took the Carling Best Album award, voted by NME’s readers.

[url=]Oasis followed that by winning the NME Artist Of The Year award after their sensational return to the fray in 2002.
