The band set to release their new album, as yet untitled, in September, which will be the follow-up to 2004’s ‘Tyrannosaurus Hives’.

The album features collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Tomas Oberg from the band Bob Hund and producer Dennis Herring.

In a statement singer Howlin Pelle Almqvist said: “At times it has felt like we are prisoners to our own creativity and that it is taking a long time.

“At this time we have a lot of songs. In the past we only had what was on each album. We ask you to bear with us as we take the time to wrestle this onto an album. An album of inhuman proportions. Hope all of you will enjoy it.”

The band make their comeback at a sold out show at London’s 100 Club tonight (July 24) – for a full report be sure to log onto NME.COM.

Meanwhile for a full interview on the band’s comeback get this week’s issue of NME, which is on UK newsstands nationwide from tomorrow (July 25).
