The Hold Steady extend US tour

There are five additional dates tacked on to upcoming outing

The Hold Steady have announced five additional dates to their tour of the US, with two shows in New York.

The band are supporting their new release ‘A Positive Rage’ which is, a double disc package featuring a documentary on DVD and The Hold Steady’s first-ever live album. It comes out next Tuesday (April 7) via Vagrant.

The newly added dates are:

Washington DC 9:30 Club (June 7)
New York, NY The Bowery Ballroom (8)
Brooklyn, NY Music Hall of Williamsburg (10)
Ithaca, NY Castaways (14)
Cleveland, OH Beachland Ballroom (15)
