The Horrors cancel all US and European tour dates

The band have blamed the pulled shows on 'circumstances beyond our control'

The Horrors have cancelled all their US and European tour dates for 2014.

The band tweeted news of the cancelled gigs earlier today (July 25), writing that the shows have been pulled due to “circumstances beyond our control”, however, they have promised to rearrange the gigs for 2015. They wrote: “Dear friends, family, supporters, deadly sworn enemies and others, Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to reshuffle our US and European tours at the end of this year. We can only apologise to anyone who already has tickets to the dates affected – we hate cancelling shows but this situation was unavoidable. We’ll be back on the road next year and make sure we return to all the places we missed on this run.”

The band are still thought to be touring the UK this September and October. Starting in Norwich on September 22, the jaunt will come to a close on October 4 at east London venue The Troxy. The band released their fourth album, ‘Luminous’, earlier this year.
