The Horrors are set to play their slot on the O2 NME Rock’n’Roll Riot Tour 2006 45 minutes earlier than advertised.
The band are set to hit the stage at London’s Astoria on Sunday (October 15) at 6.30pm despite tickets stating that doors open at 7pm.
The Horrors will be the first band on, preceding performances from The Dykeenies, The Maccabees and headliners The Fratellis.
Meanwhile, the band have also hit back at The Automatic for labelling them “crap” in this week’s NME.
As previously reported singer Rob Hawkins said: “What the fuck are The Horrors all about? How dare The Horrors do what they do? How dare they?”
Guitarist James Frost added: “They suck! They’ve just got big hair! They suck. This hype means nothing because as soon as their songs come out people are going to realise how crap they are.”
In reponse Horrors frontman Faris Rotter told BBC 6 Music: “What? How dare we be creative and do something different? I can understand from their point of view that must be hard to understand.
“I’ve never heard of them, though I can probably guess what they sound like though. Are they bland? Do they have a keyboard? They are probably people who don’t get our music. I’m sure they’ll be much happier flogging their dead horse.”
The Horrors singer also admitted that they haven’t been getting on too well with their fellow tour headliners The Fratellis after they daubed paint on their stage backdrop.
He added: “The drummer got a hand print on his shoulder without realising it, and when he did find out he was also annoyed. I’ll shake their hand, but my hand will have paint on it.”
