Band will return from Glastonbury early to headline warehouse party
The band, who will play on the Somerset festival’s Park Stage on Friday (June 28) are heading back to London for their appearance at This Feeling’s warehouse party at Oval Space in London’s Bethnal Green on Saturday (June 29). They’ll be joined by Kasabian’s very own tour DJ Dan Ralph Martin, while Findlay and Dexters will also play live.
Last month, The Horrors’ Rhys Webb revealed the band had almost finished their fourth album. He told NME: “We’re right at the end of the recording process and ready to roll. We’re recording 11 tracks. It’s sounding very exciting. I always think there is more in common with our albums than a lot of people say, but we always want to move forward as a band and make something better than what we have done before, and I think we have definitely been successful with that. Faris [Badwan, singer] is sounding fantastic too – I think it’s the best he has ever sounded.”
Earlier this month, the London club night This Feeling hosted The Stone Roses‘ aftershow, with a special performance by Miles Kane. Kasabian, Miles Kane and various other artists performing at Hard Rock Calling are expected to be present on Saturday night, too.
Hard Rock Calling, meanwhile, will see performances from Paul Weller, Klaxons, The Cribs, Tribes and The View, while Sunday will host Alabama Shakes, Lissie, The Black Crowes and headliner Bruce Springsteen.
Absolute Radio are broadcasting Kasabian’s set live from the main stage at Hard Rock Calling on Saturday night. You can listen from 9pm, for more details and backstage interviews clicker here.
