The Jackson 5 to reunite

Michael Jackson negotiating comeback

Michael Jackson is in negotiations to reunite The Jackson 5, according to the singer’s lawyer Brian Oxman.

The gigs, planned for the US, could earn Jackson an estimated £250 million.

The band last performed together 23 years ago, and are rumoured to be lining up 250 concerts in Las Vegas next year.

There are also plans to build a Michael Jackson theme park, casino, hotel and stadium in Nevada city.

A source told the Evening Standard: “Initially there will be a ‘Best Of’ album. Two new tracks will be recorded, there will be the stint in Las Vegas, then the US and the world.

“The deal being thrashed out is astronomical.”
