The Killers have revealed the secrets of their “special” recording studio in a new video – which you can watch above.

At the start of the behind-the-scenes video, drummer Ronnie Vannucci explains that the band’s Las Vegas hub is “not your usual recording studio – it’s something special”. He proceeds to lead cameras into an underground den featuring Las Vegas showgirls, acrobats and a white tiger.

The video also features an appearance by legendary Las Vegas singer Wayne Newton, who says of the band’s feline companion: “There are very few guys I know that bring a pussy on the road that size.”

Band members Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer also appear in the clip, alongside producer Steve Lillywhite and more unexpected appearances from comedian Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson and former Wimbledon champion Andre Agassi.

The Killers will release their fourth album ‘Battle Born’ on September 17. The full tracklisting has yet to be announced, but songs confirmed to appear on the album include ‘Heart Of A Girl’, ‘Flesh And Bone’, Carry Me Home’ and new single ‘Runaways’, which premiered earlier this month (July).

On Monday, Brandon Flowers revealed that the album is “going down a few different roads”, but confirmed that it will feature several songs with a similar sound to ‘Runaways’.
