The Killers have unveiled a secret weapon to help them through their current run of European dates – a model black crow.
Cheered on by fans including Hollywood star Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, the Las Vegas rockers kicked off the first date of their new tour in Copenhagen last night(November 1) by revealing the good luck charm, given to them as a present from San Francisco band Immigrant, who supported The Killers in the USA earlier this year.
“This was a gift to us from a band from San Francisco that we were playing with,” frontman Brandon Flowers told the sold-out crowd at Copenhagen Vega. “They’re a gypsy type of band and they say that this is for good luck – and its brought us safely here to Denmark, so I guess it’s doing its job!”
The set list ran:
‘Sam’s Town’
‘Enterlude’
‘When You Were Young’
‘Somebody Told Me’
‘Smile Like You Mean It’
‘Bones’
‘Bling (Confessions Of A King)’
‘Read My Mind’
‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine’
‘Uncle Jonny’
‘Mr Brightside’
‘My List’
‘For Reasons Unknown’
‘All These Things That I’ve Done’
‘Exitlude’
