The Killers to headline Oxegen Festival

Wu Tang Clan are among those also joining the bill

The Killers have been confirmed as the headlining act at the second day of this year’s Oxegen Festival.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Snow Patrol and Muse will also co-headline day one of the two-day festival which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare on July 7 and 8.

Mika, Wu Tang Clan and current NME cover stars The Gossip have also been added to a bill which already includes Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, Scissor Sisters, Razorlight, My Chemical Romance, Bloc Party, Babyshambles and CSS.

Tickets for the festival go on general sale at 8am this Friday (March 2). To check ticket availability after then and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/GIGS.

However a pre-sale is now open for fans who register on www.oxegen.ie until midnight on March 1.
