The Killers have stayed at the top of NME Chart tonight (September 10) for a second week with ’When You Were Young’.
Last week the Las Vegas band knocked Muse’s ‘Starlight’ from the Number One slot with the single taken from forthcoming album ’Sam’s Town’, out on October 2.
Other new entries in the chart came from Wolfmother, who go in at Number Six with ’Love Train’ and Larrkin Love who enter at Seven with ’Happy As Annie’.
This week’s NME Chart is:
1. The Killers – ‘When You Were Young’
2. Dirty Pretty Things – ‘Wondering’
3. Muse – ‘Starlight’
4. The Blood Arm -‘Suspicious Character’
5. The Automatic – ‘Recover’
6. Wolfmother – ‘Love Train’
7. Larrikin Love – ‘Happy As Annie’
8. Yeah Yeah Yeahs – ‘Cheated Hearts’
9. Jet – ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’
10. Ok Go – ‘Here It Goes Again’
Will The Killers be able to hold onto the top spot when The Ordinary Boys come back with ’Lonely At The Top’ or will Datarock’s ’Fa Fa Fa’ prove a suprise hit?
