The Kooks are set to resume their UK tour, after singer Luke Prichard recovered from illness.
As previously reported, Pritchard was struck down with laryngitis and tonsillitis.
This caused the band to cancel five dates on their current tour.
However, in a statement on Kooks.co.uk, the band explained Prichard is now well enough to play tonight (October 4)’s show at Sheffield’s Octagon.
The statement reads: “Luke’s doctor has said he can continue the tour in Sheffield… hopefully he will have no setbacks. In terms of the re-scheduled shows, we will be able to tell you the new dates soon.
“The band are really excited to be back and were very upset about not seeing everybody last week, but will make up for it come December.”
The tour now continues with the following dates:
Sheffield Octagon (October 5)
Manchester Academy (6/7)
Exeter University (9)
Cardiff University (10)
Birmingham Carling Academy (11)
Cambridge Corn Exchange (13)
Glasgow Barrowlands (14)
Aberdeen Music Hall (15)
London Forum (17)
London Astoria (18)
London Shepherds Bush Empire (19)
