The duo promise new material in spring 2016
The Last Shadow Puppets have posted a second teaser trailer on Facebook about the release of their second album.
The supergroup, featuring Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Miles Kane, have been busy with their own projects since they put out their debut album, ‘The Age Of The Understatement’ in 2008, and it was unclear when they would get back together again.
But earlier this month the duo released the first teaser trailer, which indicated that new material would be dropping in spring 2016, and now they’ve released a second.
Both videos feature flashing footage of the band in the studio, cut with clips of them hanging out together and Kane doing an impression of US wrestler Ric Flair, in the fashion of an old horror movie.

“This year, I’ve just done a Last Shadow Puppets record, which is the guy from Arctic Monkeys and Miles,” Ford said. “So we did the follow-up album to that. That’s the last thing I did.”
Owen Pallett, a solo artist and member of Arcade Fire who arranged the strings on Last Shadow Puppet’s debut, also tweeted a hint about recording a new record, saying that the album had crossed the threshold into “classic status”.
The full tweet from Pallett read: “That rare and thrilling moment when the record you’re working on crosses the threshold into Classic Status #tlsp2”.
