‘The Libertines: Bound Together’ to be released as e-book this week

Best-selling biography will be available on May 23

Bound Together, The Libertines biography written by former NME writer Anthony Thornton, will be released as an e-book this week.

The best-selling book was originally published in 2006 and will be available to iPad and Kindle readers from Thursday, May 23. Anthony Thornton and celebrated photographer Roger Sargent witnessed the whole messy story of The Libertines, and offer insight and access into the crazy world of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat as they became one of the most notorious bands in Britain before their split.

The Libertines: Bound Together documents the group’s extraordinary highs and lows, and the fallout from the break-up. Anthony Thornton is the only journalist to have interviewed the band at every critical stage of their career, and witnessed every major gig. Roger Sargent was their photographer of choice; responsible for the iconic second album photograph and artwork.
