The band play a shock set after a teenager organises a show by Pete Doherty's other band Babyshambles...

Libertines played an unexpected set at LIVERPOOL’s BANDWAGON last night (February 15).

Billed only as a Babyshambles gig, fans of the band were delighted when Pete Doherty was joined onstage by the rest of the Libertines.

The sell-out gig was organised by 16 year-old fan David Griffiths via the Internet, reports Gigwise. Griffiths offered Pete Doherty £1,000 to appear at the club with his other outfit Babyshambles.

The Bandwagon, held in Liverpool’s Zanzibar, also saw a performance from night founders The Bandits, who showcased some new material.

The full setlist for the Libertines gig was:

‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’

‘Last Post On The Bugle’

‘Time For Heroes’

‘The Delaney’

‘I Got Sweets’

‘Up The Bracket’

‘Boys In The Band’

‘Skag And Boneman’

‘Death On The Stairs’

‘What A Waster’

‘I Get Along’
