LIBS CANCEL LONDON SHOW

The band axe a date due to Pete Doherty's current battle against drug addiction...

Libertines have been forced to cancel a promotional appearance due to guitarist PETE DOHERTY’s current illness.

The band were due to play a set at London’s HMV flagship Oxford Street store on May 24, but have pulled out, following Doherty’s admittance into the Priory clinic, north west London, in an attempt to kick his addiction to drugs.

Next’s week’s event has now been postponed until June 2, and organisers have said that they will be confirming another band as soon as possible.
