The NME Presents... run at The Forum ends in chaotic style...

Libertines ended their three-night run at LONDON’s KENTISH TOWN FORUM in chaotic style last night (December 18) as the stage was swamped with around 100 enthusiastic fans.

At the close of the blistering show, guitarist Pete Doherty told the rapturous audience that the band would not play the last song “without at least another 65 people”.

As eager fans crowd-surfed to get on stage, Libertines’ launched into ‘I Get Along’, though due to the sheer number of people, only the drums and bass guitar were audible throughout.

Despite the lack of vocals, the song turned into a terrace-style sing-a-long, with the crowd belting out the infamous ‘Fuck ‘Em’ halfway through the track.

Libertines also gave fans a glimpse of their new material, playing the possible future single ‘Last Post On The Bugle’, alongside live favourites ‘Up The Bracket’, ‘Horrorshow’, ‘What A Waster’ and ‘The Delaney’.

Other lesser known tracks in the set-list included ‘Skag And Bone Man’ and ‘Seven Deadly Sins’.

Last night, marked the end of three NME Presents… Libertines shows which also saw support come from The Beatings, The Bandits, Kill City, Wolfman And The Side Effects as well as cockney sing-a-long veterans Chas And Dave.

On Tuesday (December 16) fans were treated to Doherty making a guest appearance with the duo.
