The star takes his side project outfit back to the Underground in Stoke-On-Trent...
BABYSHAMBLES have announced a second date at the venue they helped to destroy last week.
Pete Doherty’s side project will return to the Underground in Stoke-On-Trent on Wednesday April 28, a week after their last show there which ended in riotous scenes and an impromptu Libertines set.
Fans caused £2,000 worth of damage after ripping down the ceiling and walls at the 300-capacity venue before spilling outside to continue the party until police arrived.
But despite the troubles, the club’s promoter, Matt Bates, has upheld his pledge to invite them back.
“It was worth it just to have that kind of night! I’d most definitely have them back – at the drop of a hat!” he told NME.COM last week.
Babyshambles release their self-titled debut single through the High Society indie label on May 10.
The April 28 show will also feature Babyshambles’ label mates, The White Sport, and Stoke-On-Trent locals, The Circle Circus.
