The NME New Music Tour stars find a home

The NME-championed The Long Blondes have signed a record deal.

The Sheffield band who won the Philip Hall Radar award at this year’s ShockWaves NME Awards, have finally signed a long-term deal. They had released several singles as one-off deals with the likes of independent label Angular and Paul Epworth‘s Good & Evil will go with Rough Trade, home of The Strokes, Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire and Babyshambles.

The Long Blondes are one of the bands appearing on next month’s NME New Bands tour, along with Boy Kill Boy, The Automatic, iForward Russia! and Howling Bells.
