The band are putting all their efforts into being this year’s festival champs…

THE MAGIC NUMBERS have said they want to be the best festival band of the summer.

The group, who have just completed their self-titled debut album, are set to appear at this year’s Glastonbury and Isle Of Wight festivals.

“A lot of people have said that they can’t wait to see us at Glastonbury,” singer Romeo Stodart told NME.COM. “I can see it going down well. Our aim when we play live is for everyone to feel a part of it and just to have fun and to enjoy this moment. I think for a festival crowd that is what they want, so it’ll work nicely.”

The band go on to tour this month, visiting:

Brighton Concorde 2 (11)

London Forum (12)

Bristol Fiddlers (13)

Birmingham Academy 2 (15)

Manchester Academy 2 (16)
