Mars Volta frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala denies band are to reunite

Singer takes to Twitter to reveal he's working on material with new band Antemasque

Former Mars Volta frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala has denied recent rumours that the group are set to reform

As reported by the Associated Press, Bixler-Zavala took to Twitter yesterday (June 10) to end the speculation that began after his current band, Antemasque, cancelled their upcoming European tour. According to the singer, the reason for cancelation was so he could focus on the next two Antemasque records, as well as a new solo record under his Zavalaz moniker.

“Let me be the 1st to clear up Volta rumors. Sorry it’s not gonna happen. We are focused on a 2nd & 3rd @ANTEMASQUE record,” he posted.
