Expect films, cartoons and all sorts. Oh, and 24 people on stage...

Polyphonic Spree are planning a special LONDON gig as elaborate as their recent hometown show in DALLAS!

NME can reveal that the robed collective will play at London Forum on February 10, the night after their sold-out NME Awards show at the London Astoria with The Datsuns, Interpol and The Thrills.

It’s their only headline show in the UK before the summer. However, the gig will take on more of an “event” feel, like their recent hometown performance in Dallas (December 20), which featured live animals, performance art and various films played throughout the night.

A source close to the band told NME: “Their idea is to move away from the concept of a normal gig, and take on more of an ‘An evening with…’ approach. They’re planning for it to feature their favourite films and cartoons before the bands play, and there’ll be special guests – you name it! It’s not just going to be a performance from Polyphonic Spree.”

Tickets for the gig are on sale now, priced £15. To buy tickets [url=]click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
