PRODIGY have four European festival dates lined up this summer, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.
The four festival appearances will be the group’s first live shows since August 1999, when they played in Sofia in Bulgaria.
The band will appear at:
Switzerland, Rock Oz (August 17)
Germany, Bizarre Festival (18)
Holland, Lowlands Festival (24)
Belgium, Pukklepop Festival (25)
The band are currently working on material for their new album, which has the working title of ‘Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned’, at Liam Howlett’s home studio.
In other news, a remastered version of the band’s 1992 debut album is to be re-released in the US, under the slightly revised titled ‘Prodigy Experience: Expanded’, on June 19. It will have an 11-track bonus CD, which contains remixes of ‘Charly’, ‘Wind It Up’, ‘Out Of Space’ and ‘Everybody In The Place’.
