The Prodigy’s Maxim set for debut art exhibition in September

Singer will showcase LepidopTerror in Covent Garden this autumn

The Prodigy‘s Maxim will open his debut art exhibition in London in September.

The singer, whose first public exhibition is titled LepidopTerror, will showcase a collection of his own paintings at the INC space in London‘s Covent Garden from September 15-26.

Maxim, whose real name is Keith Palmer, paints under the alias MM and has put together a collection of large scale paintings which reveal the dark side of butterfly wings.

The Prodigy have been quiet recently, with their live CD/DVD ‘World’s On Fire’, their only output of note in 2011.

Mainman Liam Howlett indicated towards the tail end of 2010 that, after the band had completed their support slot with Linkin Park, they would return to the studio to begin work on new material.

The band are currently only booked to perform at one summer festival, Ruisrock in Finland on July 8.
