Listen to The Raconteurs’ fuzzy new Donovan cover to launch Third Man Records’ Bandcamp page

The band have recorded a version of 'Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness)' for the occasion

The Raconteurs have helped celebrate Third Man Records’ new Bandcamp page by posting a brand new song online – listen to the band’s cover of Donovan’s ‘Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness)’ below.

Third Man, which was founded by Raconteurs frontman Jack White, have now set up an account on Bandcamp’s site, which allows bands, artists and labels to store, share and sell their music at prices they can control.

As the site’s announcement post points out, Third Man has now listed a number of its releases on their Bandcamp page, which are available to purchase in different formats. “For those who’ve yet to catch up on the Nashville institution’s diverse roster, now’s your chance,” the post states. “From alternative country (Margo Price’s All American Made, Craig Brown Band’s The Lucky Ones Forget) and critically-acclaimed stoner metal (Sleep’s The Sciences), to hardcore punk (the Stools’ When I Left), there’s something for everyone.”

The Raconteurs have chosen to mark the arrival of the Bandcamp page by releasing their cover of Donovan’s 1965 song ‘Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness)’, which you can hear below.
